She flies through the air with the greatest of ease!

We adopted a cat, Ramona, a few years back, and she has always been pleasantly plump.
Ravioli makes sure she gets plenty of exercise these days.
Misha makes sure she doesn't get too much exercise.

*disclaimer - No cats were actually used to fill out Ravioli's circus troupe

Stretch Goals

I don't know if you know this, but lycra is suuuuper stretchy.

Mister sees an occupational therapist for a variety of reasons, and she recommended we set up a lycra "cuddle swing" for him at the house. The stretchy fabric presses in from all sides and is rather comforting.  And the swing aspect is rather like a hammock.
It's good for vestibular input and  calming.
Dialing in how much fabric you need is a bit time-consuming and not without some risk of being consumed.  It is definitely worth the effort, though.

Woof. Woof woof.

Around 7pm, Watson starts grumbling.  He gets progressively louder.  He'll come up and put his paw on Nick's arm, grumbling "wrow-wrow-wrow" until Nick asks him if it's time for bed.  Then Watson bolts for the stairs and stands there wagging his tail until Nick goes upstairs to tuck him in bed.
Nick is most definitely Watson's person.

Extra! Extra!

Napkin People has no bigger fan than Mister.  Literally everyone we meet is encouraged to google "Napkin People" and read all about it.  It's incredibly sweet.

Now that's a sight!

We moved to Seattle a couple of years ago, but we still do the tourist thing from time to time.

Focus Group

It's important to listen to your loved ones, even if their focused interest isn't the same as yours.

"Ravioli" is our housemates' son. He's REALLY into tractors.
Mister, of course, is REALLY into a lot of things. Astrophysics being one.

Happy little cup of tea!

I'm currently working on a billion projects.
Which is as it should be!

Cold-blooded, but not cold-hearted.

Miss Boo has always loved snakes, and Mike has always hated snakes.
Sometimes, being a parent is hard.

What's Shakin'?

Mike and I have a long-standing joke about shaking the table while I'm doing something that requires precision. In our current place, we've got six computers set up on a series of large square tables to accommodate the combined households in the house.  It's AWESOME. But can occasionally present the cutest challenges.
Our resident two year old (our friends' son) loves to climb onto my desk -probably because his mother, Misha, does everything humanly possible to keep him from doing it- and he does the most adorable "I'M GONNA GET IN TROUBLE!" giggly dance as the closest adult approaches to remove him.

My Cup of Tea

My mugs continue to get larger each year.
I suspect I will at some point own a Big Gulp Mug.

A New Adventure!

Happy  New Year!

I'll be fidgeting with the schedule of Napkin People for a while, so bear with me.  I've got a lot more on my plate these days, so I'm probably only be able to swing 3 comics a week.  Monday and Wednesday will probably be one panels and Friday will be long form. I hope you all are having a great 2017 so far!
